about

Written by Train of Thought in the late 80's. There's so much good local music that has never seen the recognition it deserves. The Winter Project wanted to try to bring this great song back to life. John Viszmeg of Train of Thought is featured on the lead guitar on this track.

lyrics

Soaring Death Song
Days of my life, off to a bad start, eyes shut tight, I fall apart. No friends, fun, and no home, we're lying in the sun.
Felt the steel, the ice in my veins, clock hands puncturing my sides. Won't frown, ain't gonna drown, will morning never come?
No time. Never enough time, for what I wanna do when I wanna do it.
Leave me here, just take off, let me bleed and fly on high above. Don't look at the blood.
I was dropped, left by the side, no self pity, no way home. Oh, can't you see that i give up completely.
Felt myself fall out through my feet, didn't even try to hold on. You talk about endurance, and you talk about a strength you can't understand.
No time. Never enough time, for what I wanna do when I wanna do it.
Leave me here, just take off, let me bleed and fly on high above. Don't look at the blood.
