‘Georgia Tech’ is a blistering 180 BPM pop/punk rocket, which transposes the wistful tale of the song’s heart-broken protagonist with accessible, hook-laden riffs. It brings to mind other bands who have captured this dichotomy so well, such as Blink-182, Alkaline Trio and Jawbreaker. ‘Georgia Tech’, however, is undeniably rooted in the classic Boston indie rock sound. Garage-y guitar tones, a pounding rhythm section and a vocalist with just a touch of that Boston attitude.
